Joseph Stalin's Personal Journal
Dear Diary,
Well, I am still holding all the power. It's feels good to finally be in control. I have definitely made some changes for the benefit that I know the people appreciate. My "five- year plan" is working for the better with it's goal to build industry, improve transportation and increase farm output. While these are helping the people, I am starting to hate some of them. They don't give me enough respect. I've taken away plenty of them because they make jokes about me and don't appreciate all I do for them. It brings back terrible memories of childhood and so they are punished. I figure they must learn the hard way to fully learn.
~ Joseph Stalin
Dear Diary,
Hitler. Oh, that man. He has betrayed me. I thought we had a pact but come to find that was spoiled! Anyway, I have lost count of all the people that are in camps. I am keeping my power though. I don't know how long this revolution will last but I plan to be the dictator for a while. Lots to do.
~ Joseph Stalin
Dear Diary,
Much time has past and I am very ill. Doctor's say that I may be on my death bed soon. I have also heard that there are assassination attacks being planned for me. Ha! I will find these people, or rather my office will, and they will be tortured and then killed. I will not be taken down by lousy townspeople, even while I am dying.
Possibly for the last time,
~Joseph Stalin
